University’s Assistant for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Khamis Awad Zaidan , directed of the necessity of intensifying the courses and tests for the platforms specified by the Ministry for professors and students in preparation for the completion of the final electronic exam process, all of these measures is to complete the final exams for graduate and undergraduate students in a best way and without obstacles so that our students can complete the exams smoothly away from any obstacle that would confuse them.
The General Secretariat of the Central Library at Al- Iraqia University, in cooperation with ( Abbasy Ataba) Library, announced the registration and publication of library services and works at scientific site of the International Federation of Library Associations (IFLA).
The Secretary General of the Central Library, Dr. Bushra Khaled, said that the messages and theses will be available electronically to students and beneficiaries, in the form of pdf, converting old paper-based research to pdf through a digital scanner, and facilitate the procedures for receiving and theses for graduate students.
It is reported that the Federation was established in 1927 in Scotland, and aims to develop cooperation and international understanding, research, debate and development in various fields.
In implementation of the directives of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding conducting electronic final exams for Undergraduate, Al- Iraqia University / Registration Department issued a set of procedures used to perform the final exams electronically.
Prof. Dr. Khaled Shaker, director of Registration and Student Affairs Department, indicated that the University is continuing to serve its students, providing the necessary facilities to ensure that our students perform exams efficiently and accurately, and handling critical cases by adding five grades for students who failed (of all stages) after completing the results of the first round.
University’s Assistant for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Khamis Awad Zaidan, instructed the university’s colleges and departments to work according many controls in preparation for final examinations of postgraduate students.
Dr. Khamis confirmed to conduct a trial test for students after completing the registration of their information to ensure clear performance of the exam, training students on electronic exam platforms as the (Edmodo Platform), and authorizing colleges to choose any of the accredited platforms, Stressing on giving colleges opportunity to choose the appropriate time, (morning or evening), according to exam schedules that are set to determine the exam.
Al-Mabdaa Center for Islamic Studies at Al Iraqia University, held an electronic workshop on antioxidants and body health delivered by Prof. Wissal Ali Al-Obaidi on FCC technology.
The workshop aims to introduce the importance of antioxidants that prevent oxidation of fats by taking the electron from the free radicals of fats for chemical stability to occur. The workshop included also definition of types of antioxidants and vitamins, antioxidants, and foods containing antioxidants that can be obtained from eating vegetables and fruits.
The workshop recommended the importance of eating foods that contain antioxidants during a person’s daily diet.
Prof. Dr. Ali Saleh Hussein Al-Jubouri, Rector of Al-Iraqia University, directed all colleges and departments of the university to overcome all obstacles before students to perform the final electronic exams, and to give them adequate and appropriate time to conduct the exams efficiently and successfully.
Rector of Al-Iraqia University, called also on the university’s colleges and departments to ensure that all students perform the exams smoothly, calling on the students to take the time to answer and cooperate in order to cross the current stage in light of the difficult and urgent circumstances that Iraq and the whole world are going through, stressing that the educational process cannot stop and that Iraqis are people of knowledge and success, stressing that this process will remain continuous and crowned with success and excellence.
