Prof. Dr. Khaled Shaker Hamid, on the faculty of Media at Al-Iraqia University, Director of General Registration Department, issued a book on synthesis and its effect on grammatical explanation.

The book dealt with the concept of punctuation in Arabic, their definition, genera and types, the book discussed the importance of linking our grammatical heritage with what the modern audio lesson has reached in terms of continuous development and the effectiveness of synergy of the phonetic and grammatical aspects in the interpretation of syntactic phenomena and the strengthening links between different sciences and knowledge .

A Scientific Symposium in the University on the Use of Medicines and Antibiotics

Department of Scientific Affairs at Al-Iraqia University, in cooperation with the College of Pharmacy at the University of Kirkuk, organized an electronic scientific seminar on the optimal use of drug formulas, common errors in drug use and the impact of antibiotics on the human body. . Prof.  Dr. Qusay Nuri Radam, director of Department of Scientific Affairs at Al-Iraqia University, the mechanism of antibiotics and clarify their types and mechanisms of action on pathogens such as bacteria, fungi and viruses. Professor Nahla Kamal Asaad, Director of the Employment and Follow-up Unit at College of Pharmacy of Kirkuk, also attended the seminar and talked about licensed and unlicensed uses of medicines, reviewing the risk of taking medicines without a prescription, such as taking excessive and unnecessary doses and explaining their seriousness. The seminar aimed to explain the optimal uses of medications and avoid common mistakes in the wrong use of the drug

It was recommended that exercise caution and alertness when taking the medicine, and know some side effects in dealing with these medications such as feeling sleepy, dizzy and other, as well as the need not to take the drug with tea, coffee or juices, and certainly take medications on time according to the specialist’s prescription.

Al-Iraqi University Announces Schedule of Electronic Workshops of June

In cooperation with Iraqi Ministry of Health and Al-Bayan Private University, the Computer and Internet Center at the Iraqi University, announced a list that includes a number of addresses  workshops that will be held electronically during the month of June in various and different topics.

Dr. Muzaffar Hussain Ali Al-Dhafiri, director of the Center, stressed that the upcoming workshops will be distinguished and carry topics that serve the current situation , with a renewed vision and will be presented by a group of Al-Iraqia University Academics through Free Conference call application.

Dr. Al-Dhafiri added that these workshops came within the framework of cooperation between Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and other various governmental institutions. Al- Iraqia University is keen to organize a different set of scientific, awareness and educational activities to serve of society.

General Registration Continues Issuing Graduation Documents

General registration department at Al-Iraqia University continues to issue graduation documents and complete all procedures to conduct electronic final exams. , Prof. Dr. Khaled Shaker, director of General registration department indicated that the department has issued 25 graduation documents, answering more than 60 Issued verification document from various departments and institutions from 4/22 to 5/19, under the continued curfew imposed as a result of the outbreak of Corona pandemic.

Dr. Khaled added that the department completed the procedures related to performing the final exams electronically, as an implementation of the directives of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, within the specified times, and to ensure its performance accurately and efficiently in accordance with the electronic platform approved by the Ministry.

The Council of University, headed by  the Rector of the University, Professor Dr. Ali Saleh Hussein Al-Jubouri, has taken many measures to conduct electronic final examinations in light of current stage. The procedures included introducing professors to intensive courses in dealing with the Admudo Program, enrolling postgraduate and undergraduate students in courses to train them on the type of questions and techniques for answering them, explaining the mechanism around which the pattern of questions revolves, and clarifying the Ministry’s procedures related to final exams.

The procedures also included providing support to distinguished professors and owners of research and scientific research published internationally within the Clarvit and Skopas containers that Arab and local published, by providing material and moral support to distinguished professors, by giving them letters of appreciations and raising the level of evaluation for  distinguished professors in the field of electronic teaching and electronic exams. Meanwhile, the university’s faculties expressed their keenness to offer helping to the needy students and provide them with some tools to ensure they enter the final electronic exam.

University Council Holds its Second Exceptional Electronic Session

Al-Iraqia University Council held its second session electronically, headed by the Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Ali Saleh Hussein Al-Jubouri, on the evening of Tuesday 5/26, with presence of all its members to discuss the topics on the agenda. The session dealt with the instructions of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding conducting electronic exams for postgraduate and undergraduate students. During the session the Council also discussed the mechanism used to ensure that exams are held electronically within the dates indicated by the Ministry at the specified time, and to agree to authorize college councils to choose the optimal online platform for the exam.

The session also included the keenness of the university presidency to give importance to providing the appropriate procedures for students to perform exams with high accuracy and efficiency.
