Continuing Education Center Continues Teaching Methods Course Exam
Center of Development and Continuing Education at Al- Iraqia University had examined applicants of teaching methods course electronically on 7/14/2020, through the (Classroom Program).
Prof. Dr. Sarmad Ahmed Jasim said, director of the center, said : “The course included, many lectures related to educational strategies, methods and methods, learning about levels of educational goals, successful teaching mechanisms and planning for it, in addition to achievement tests and their types, and keenness to provide these lectures electronically joined by numbers that exceed expectations and over the course of fourteen days. ”
Center’s training division official, Mr. Harith Abdullah Faddam, said that the center sought in this session to secure contact with all the participants in the course with the lecturers, and to raise all lectures electronically, providing them with information of the course, to ensure benefit from the lectures, and the success of this experience in light of the spread of the Corona virus pandemic.

An Electronic Workshop on Coding Images on Programmable Logic Gate Matrix
College of Engineering held an electronic workshop under the auspices of the University Rector, Prof. Dr. Ali Saleh Al-Jubouri, on encoding images based on the programmable logic gate matrix with the participation of a number of instructors and specialized researchers. The workshop aimed to define the importance of information security and modern methods for encrypting data within images.
The workshop indicating on the possibility of implementing cryptographic algorithms in a practical way by using a programmable logic gate matrix because of its speed in performance and possibility of reprogramming it in appropriate to the field of application.
Al- Iraqia University Holds a Workshop on Impact of Life Stress on Individual
Under the auspices of University Rector, Prof. Dr. Ali Saleh Al-Jubouri; Center for Research and Studies held a workshop entitled (Impact of Daily Stress and Stressed Behavioral Problems of Children and Strategies for Dealing with them)
The workshop aimed to identify the impact of daily life stresses and the severity of children’s behavioral problems, strategies for dealing with stresses on family adjustment ,it also included several axes of daily stress and its impact on the psychological side, where the lecture stated that these pressures and life events are stimuli or changes that occur in the internal or external environment, which have intensity and continuity so that they affects the adaptive capacity of the individual, which can lead to the utmost degree to a disruption in human behavior Or its incompatibility with the surrounding environment or negative responses on psychological aspects, as well as the focus of types of comforting and adaptive families. Finally, the workshop recommended many tips and recommendations for a better life and a happy family.
A Workshop on (Healthy Culture) Holds on Al- Iraqia University
Center of Research and Studies held a workshop entitled (Health and Nutrition Culture is Your Responsibility for Community Safety) The objective is to spread healthy and nutritional culture among members of society to reach a healthy society free of diseases.
The workshop included many axes besides the introduction, which the researcher introduced the concept of healthy and nutritional culture as well as areas of health education , its importance , dealt with other axes the concept of healthy food and its components , characteristics and food benefits indicating when it becomes a disease and also color gains and added taste to it , mentioned how inherited genes affect food habits .Finally the workshop presented many recommendations and guidance that one must follow to achieve maximum benefit from food.
Scientific Lecture on (Classroom Climate and Effective Teaching Skills)
Under the patronage of the Rector of Al Iraqia University, College of Media organized a scientific lecture on classroom climate and effective teaching skills, participated by number of teacher’s staff and researchers. The lecture, held in cooperation with Center of Development and Continuing Education at the Presidency of Al- Iraqia University, aims to introduce how to create the appropriate atmosphere for classroom management and ways to motivate students to participate effectively in the lecture, as well as methods of dealing with behavioral problems wisely and carefully .
The lecture also included definition of concept of classroom management, its style, creative teaching patterns and goals, the importance of controlling positive classroom environment and achieving requirements for effective teaching basics. The lecture recommended necessity of developing a new methodology for the teaching curriculum based mainly on communication and motivation and measuring the level of assimilation and interaction and achieving effectiveness positive link between teacher and student.
