College of Arts, Al-Iraqi University participated in the third meeting of Colleges of Islamic Sciences Deans Committee, held at the University of Baghdad.
The college was represented by, head of Quran Sciences Department Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Ali Ni'ma.
"The meeting was attended by twenty-one dean of various Iraqi universities and discussed a number of proposals concerning the reality of the educational process in colleges of Islamic Sciences and the prospects for future work". Dr. Haider said
The committee came out with a number of recommendations including:
* A recommendation to distribute admission between The Central Admission and Colleges of Islamic Science 80% to 20% respectively.
* Agreeing that work of Islamic disciplines' market is everywhere because it targets everyone.
* Identifying job description for graduates of Islamic science students, according to departments.
* Keeping the Quran Science departments within the Colleges of Arts and Education and do not transfer them to Colleges of Islamic Sciences, and suggesting a proposal to open Quran Sciences Department at the Colleges of Islamic sciences that does not contain this department.
